Bosco Fund Fair 2024
Our second fund raiser, entitled Bosco Fun Fair, was another resounding success. The Entrepreneurship Club worked well as a team to organize this major and eagerly anticipated event in our school.
The leaders of the Entrepreneurship Club, who led the fund raiser in our school, visited Shanthi Nilyam Home, for HIV positive youth, to donate the funds they had raised. They also gifted some stationery items. In addition, they donated funds to an orphanage for girls run by the Sisters of Charity. We are very proud of our students for their dedicated service and contribution to the community in need.
Academic Year 2023-2024
Founded in 2023, Don Bosco’s Entrepreneurship Club offers our Senior Secondary School Classes 11 & 12 Business students the opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial skills. Students are actively engaged in organizing events to gain practical work experience.
The club successfully executed a number of events in our school last year, including a fund-raiser to sponsor the education of 3 Junior College students from a home for HIV positive children and “Mind Games,” an event which encouraged students to put down their cell phones and engage in mentally and physically demanding activities.
