Spark Peace 2024-2025

The Spark Peace Project by Students Rebuild invites students from around the world to use their creativity to design art work with a message to build a more peaceful world. Students Rebuild donates funds to peacebuilding organizations. This is the 6th consecutive year that Don Bosco School, Bandlaguda, Hyderabad has participated in Students Rebuild community service projects to create awareness about global issues.

Extraordinary Earth Challenge 2023-2024

For the 4th consecutive year, our school participated in Students Rebuild Art for Social Change Project, where students create art pieces based on a theme and send photos online to Students Rebuild. For each art piece sent Students Rebuild donates $ 5 to different charity organizations and NGO’s. This year’s theme was Extraordinary Earth. Students had to create art out of recycled materials.

World Refugees 2022-2023

Students learned about the global refugee crisis and were inspired to help. They created art on a postcard with messages to illustrate why it’s important and to raise awareness for the refugee crisis issue.
World Needs Challenge

“After moving through a worldwide pandemic beginning in 2020, each of the following needs surfaced as more relevant and resonant than ever: clean oceans, humanitarian aid for refugees, hunger relief, overcoming bias and arts activism.” – Students Rebuild.
Changemaker Challenge

Hunger Challenge
Don Bosco School participated in the Students Rebuild Hunger Challenge, an initiative to raise funds for charities that are feeding the poor and needy. An estimated 821 million people – one person in nine – suffer from hunger worldwide. The Covid Pandemic has compounded the problem. Students Rebuild Hunger Challenge encouraged students worldwide to participate in a fundraiser where for every creatively done recipe sent in the Bezos Family Foundation donated $ 6 to charity organizations like UNICEF, Mary’s Meals, Save The Children and No Kid Hungry. The aim of this project was also to create awareness among students about the global problem of hunger and malnutrition.
We are happy to announce that our school raised $1254 (Rs. 90,000 approx) with 156 students contributing 297 recipes for the Students Rebuild Hunger Challenge. In total, $2.3 million dollars was generated by the Foundation to support over 230,000 children globally.
