13th November 2019: In celebration of Children’s Day, students from Classes 8 to 10 participated in a Declamation Contest organized by the school. 25 students, representing the top 5 from each class selected during the preliminary round, delivered speeches that had inspired them. Mother Teresa’s profound Nobel Peace Prize Speech, Mahatma Gandhi’s historic Quit India Speech, Malala Yousafzai’s soul stirring speech at the Youth Takeover of the UN, Kailash Satyarthi’s Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech, The Beatitudes and Mother Mary’s devout prayer: The Magnificat, along with a number of iconic speeches marked a memorable day in our school.
Our grateful thanks to Rev Fr. Rajesh and Rev. Sr. Gracy for taking the time to judge the Declamation Contest, our Principal Rev. Fr. Chinnappa, who had envisioned this event and Vice-Principal Mrs. Sujatha Devi for her support and encouragement. Thank you also to the School Pupil Leader, Lohitha Reddy, who very efficiently compered the Declamation Contest.
